Sharon J. Burnett, Ph.D., LMFT

 

Founder and director of West Valley Counseling Center, Dr. Burnett has been in private practice for over 25 years as a licensed marriage and family therapist. Over the course of her career, Dr. Burnett has served on the Medical and Counseling Advisory Board of WeSpark, a cancer support group, facilitated workshops for women abuse survivors, and worked as a staff member for the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross Center. Her areas of expertise include high conflict divorce and custody, co-parenting and reconciliation therapy. Dr. Burnett’s vision is a center where students, interns and licensed therapists have the opportunity to learn from her years of experience while providing the community with access to affordable, quality therapy in an intimate private practice setting. She is proud of staff members who have chosen to join WVCC, sharing the same dedication, professionalism and philosophy of client-centered services.
